In 2020, neon signs started creeping back into our homes. Possibly due to us all spending much more time at home and the need to create an atmospheric and fun environment to brighten up our days and nights.
Also, they are predicted to be very popular in 2021 (if you haven’t read my post of 2021 Interior Trends head over here). So, I decided to create a list of affordable neon signs from Amazon for you, some of them are just too cute to resist.
Neon lighting definitely invokes nostalgia and add much needed personality in the sea of grey interiors that has been dominating the home decor world for a number of years.
So, I have pulled together the best neon signs Amazon have to offer, across all price points. How my house is not full of neon signs now, I do not know, there are too many fantastic ones to choose from!

How simple but effective is this cute LED cloud sign. Measuring 30cm x 18cm it is small but impactful for whichever space you choose. This style of neon light is perfect for bedrooms (adults or children’s), games room or even a home office. This light was also available in pink, which is my personal colour choice for this little light, head over to Amazon and check out the colours available.
This cloud neon light is such fun! I love the bulb effect style and the solidness of the shape. A great alternative to the other type of neon light above, I can imagine having this one in my home office for sure. The size is approx. 29cm x 18cm so it will not overtake your room in any way.
Lighting Bolt Neon Sign
I have seen this lighting bolt used within rooms on Instagram and it really is effective at adding that extra coolness to a space. Small but mighty at 34cm x 13.5cm, perfect for sitting the sign amongst a collage of items on your wall.
There seems to be a good selection of colours available within Amazon for this style of neon light. This particular light is also available in blue but across Amazon I have also seen it in a yellow colour which is great for adding a fun and bright look to your room.

- Check sizing – This the most common disappointment I see on reviews of products, especially ones that the item has been bought online and the buyer has waited patiently for the item to arrive. Get the measuring tape out and properly ensure the size is perfect for what your are looking for. I have giving approx. sizing where possible on the products above but please note, I have taken these details from each individual listing at the time of writing this post, but please double check all the product details yourself before purchasing.
- Check colour selections (if applicable) – Always double check the colour choices and if there is a Q&A section, always give that a check to ensure the product is what you are expecting. Capturing colour within images, especially with neon, doesn’t always translate correctly. Ensure you choose the right colour for your home.
- Check delivery times – This is a big one to check so you can set expectations. I had a LOT more neon lights ready to go on this list but I decided to remove them as the delivery times were exceptionally long. Always check where your item is being shipped from (if possible). This may also effect what type of plug fittings are supplied with your neon light – another important thing to check.
